Launches first homer Escobar went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run and a pair of walks during Thursday's loss at Coors Field.
Impact Escobar attempted a ninth-inning rally for his team with a two-run long ball against Carlos Estevez to bring the Diamondbacks within four runs. Unfortunately, that was as close as they would come. It was the first home run of the season for the 32-year-old. Hopefully it can break the 2-for-23 slump he's found himself in thus far.

Locks down second save Bard picked up a two-out save with one strikeout against the Diamondbacks on Thursday.
Impact Bard was summoned in the ninth inning to put a halt to the Arizona rally with two runners on and one out after they scored a pair of runs on a homer by Eduardo Escobar. The 35-year-old cleaned things up with ease, sending Josh Rojas down on strikes before forcing Tim Locastro to ground out for the final out of the game. The save was the second of the year for Bard in four appearances for the Rockies.
