NFL Super Wild Card Weekend highlights: Chiefs cruise past Dolphins; Texans dominate
The 2023 NFL playoffs were in full swing Saturday, featuring a pair of star-studded AFC wild-card matchups.
First, rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud and the No. 4-seed Houston Texans dominated veteran signal-caller Joe Flacco and the No. 5-seed Cleveland Browns, getting a pair of defensive scores en route to an impressive 45-14 win.
Later, Patrick Mahomes and the No. 3-seed Kansas City Chiefs cruised to a 26-7 win over Tua Tagovailoa and the No. 6-seed Miami Dolphins in one of the coldest NFL games ever played.
Both the Texans and Chiefs advanced to the divisional round with their wins. If the Bills beat the Steelers on Monday, the Chiefs would take on the Bills while the Texans would travel to face the Ravens. If the Steelers get the upset, the Chiefs will host the Texans next weekend.
