The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series kicked off the summer with the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois.

Austin Cindric took home the checkered flag on Sunday, earning his second career victory and ending an 85-race winless streak in a hugely important day for Team Penske. Ryan Blaney, who held the lead with just two laps to go, ran out of gas at the worst possible moment to allow for Cindric to take the lead and cross the finish line in first.
