College Football Week 4 Highlights: Indiana Crushes Illinois, More
Kicking things off on FOX's "Big Noon Saturday," No. 17 Texas Tech (4-0) traveled to Salt Lake City and dominated No. 16 Utah (3-1) to jump-start Week 4 of the college football season. It's the Red Raiders' first 4-0 start since 2013.
Then, Syracuse (3-1) went on the road and upset ACC foe Clemson (1-3) by double digits. It's the Orange's third all-time win against the Tigers and first since 2017. What's more, Clemson is 1-3 for just the second time since 2000, and it's the worst start for the Tigers under head coach Dabo Swinney, who took over the program in 2009.
Elsewhere, No. 21 Michigan (3-1) fought hard and narrowly escaped Nebraska (3-1) on the road, UCF (3-0) crushed Bill Belichick's North Carolina (2-2) squad at home and No. 11 Oklahoma (4-0) took down No. 22 Auburn (3-1). The Sooners set a team record with 10 sacks against the Tigers. Meanwhile, the Huskers recorded their 28th consecutive loss against ranked opponents — the third-longest streak against ranked opponents among Big Ten teams all-time.
