Bowl game highlights: Georgia pummels FSU in Orange Bowl; Ole Miss runs away with Peach Bowl

The No. 5 Florida State Seminoles had a chance to prove that they belong in the College Football Playoff as they took on No. 6 Georgia in the Orange Bowl on Saturday, but they fell short in a crushing 63-3 defeat to the Bulldogs.

And that was only one of the big games on the slate.

Kicking off the action on Saturday, No. 11 Ole Miss defeated No. 10 Penn State in the Peach Bowl.

That game was followed by another contest with Big Ten-SEC bragging rights at stake, as Maryland took down Auburn in the Music City Bowl.
