Runner-up finish in Belgium Perez fired a bogey-free, five-under 66 in the final round of the Soudal Open to finish in a six-way tie for second.

Impact Perez surged up the leaderboard over the weekend with scores of 65-66, with his bogey on the first hole of the third round being his last of the tournament. He led the field in both GIR and SG: Tee-to-Green while ranking second in SG: Off-the-Tee, 10th in SG: Approach, which all made up for his struggles around and on the green. It was Perez's best finish of the season, and he'll return to the LIV Golf league for this week's event in South Korea. He has finished in the top-20 in four of his last five LIV events, including 11th in Virginia in early May.

Impact Perez put together a 67-66-67-67 scorecard in South Africa, ranking T5 in the field in driving accuracy, T11 in GIR and 14th in scrambling, though he could have contended for a top-10 finish had his performance on the green been better (T44 in putts per hole). It was Perez's best finish of the 2026 LIV Golf season, and he has finished T16 or better in two of his last three outings. His next outing will be LIV Golf Mexico that starts April 16.

He did finish the tournament nicely with a four-under 68 final round that included three consecutive birdies from holes eight to 10. Perez finished T10 in driving accuracy, 14th in driving distance and T18 in putts per hole, though he ranked near the bottom of the field in GIR and birdies made. The newest addition to Cleeks GC is in the field next week for LIV Golf Adelaide.
