Jumps to third in Hong Kong Pieters posted a 19-under cumulative score at LIV Golf Hong Kong to finish solo third behind Thomas Detry and winner Jon Rahm.

Impact Pieters surged up the leaderboard Saturday with a bogey-free, nine-under 61 score that included an eagle on the par-4 10th hole. He closed things out with a four-under 66 in the final round, which was enough to crack the top-3 by surpassing Harold Varner III. Pieters ranked third in the field in GIR, T10 in birdies made and 12th in scrambling, and thanks to his efforts and Detry's, the 4Aces GC group captained by Dustin Johnson came away with the team victory, winning by six strokes over Talor Gooch's Smash GC. Pieters will tee it up next week at LIV Golf Singapore, where he has finished 23-T5-24 over the last three years.
