Impact Valimaki was sitting right at the one-over cut line heading into the back nine of the second round. He proceeded to bogey both the 13th and 16th holes, and while he made birdie on the 17th, he could not gain the stroke he needed on the final hole. He was excellent with his putter in the first round, gaining 3.03 strokes in that category, but he lost 1.35 strokes on the green during Friday's round. Valimaki has just one top-25 finish to his name this season (T14 at the Valero Texas Open) and has missed the cut seven times in 13 tournaments. He's not listed in the field for next week's 3M Open.
