Impact Valimaki played his final seven holes of the tournament in four-under-par to salvage his third consecutive top-20 finish dating back to a solo-fourth at the Texas Children's Houston Open, rising to 66th in the FedExCup standings as a result. This past week at Harbour Town, he ranked top-10 among the field in both SG: Approach and Feet of Putts Made. Valimaki will pair with Ben Silverman at the upcoming Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Runner-up in Vallarta Valimaki closed with a final round two-under 69 at the Mexico Open, finishing two shots behind champion Jake Knapp.

Impact Valimaki began the day with a four-shot deficit but was able to tie the lead following an eagle on the par-4 seventh hole. The momentum stalled from there, however, as he played his next six holes in one-over. Heading into the closing par-5 18th hole trailing by two, any hopes were dashed when Valimaki's tee-shot found the penalty area.
