Out for Valspar
MacIntyre is out for the Valspar Championship, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
Impact
MacIntyre would have entered the Valspar Championship on a blistering pace, having finished top-five twice in PGA tournaments across just under three months for 2026. Unfortunately for him, he will need to take at least a temporary breather, and Andrew Putnam will enter Valspar instead.

Jumps to fourth at THE PLAYERS
MacIntyre finished solo fourth at THE PLAYERS Championship with a 10-under cumulative score.
Impact
It didn't seem like MacIntyre would be anywhere near contention at TPC Sawgrass after posting back-to-back even rounds to open the tournament. That changed over the weekend, starting with his seven-under 65 score Saturday. He was four-under through the first 13 holes during the final round Sunday and was part of a crowded top of the leaderboard after Ludvig Aberg's collapse on the back nine. However, MacIntyre went bogey-birdie-bogey over the next three holes, with his bogey on the par-5 16th hole being particularly debilitating. Still, it was the Scotsman's second top-5 finish of the PGA Tour season, and he has finished in the top-10 at THE PLAYERS in back-to-back years. MacIntyre ranked in the top-10 in birdies made, SG: Off-the-Tee, SG: Putting and driving accuracy and T11 in GIR. He is not listed in the field for the Valspar Championship next week.

Second in SG: OTT at Bay Hill
MacIntyre carded a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish two-under and tied for 24th.
Impact
MacIntyre ranked second behind only Cameron Young in SG: Off-the-Tee at Bay Hill, though the Scottish 29-year-old lost over five strokes with his irons while hitting just 40 of 72 greens in regulation throughout the week. Nonetheless, MacIntyre has now gained strokes both off the tee and with the flat stick in each of his first five starts to begin the 2026 season, guiding him to a trio of top-25 results. He'll peg it again this week at THE PLAYERS Championship where he finished solo-ninth last year.

Third in SG: Putting at Riviera
MacIntyre carded a four-under 67 on Sunday at The Genesis Invitational to finish nine-under and tied for 20th.
Impact
MacIntyre made 126 feet of putts during Sunday's final round, in which he gained 3.13 strokes with the flat stick while also converting all six of his scrambling opportunities. However, he ultimately lost 4.84 strokes on approach throughout his week at Riviera Country Club, ranking dead last among those who made the cut in GIR percentage as well. Nonetheless, he's now gained at least 2.5 strokes putting in three consecutive outings, and MacIntyre figures to peg it next at the Arnold Palmer Invitational where he tied for 11th in 2025.

Ties for 37th at Pebble Beach
MacIntyre carded an even-par 72 on Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am to finish 11-under and tied for 37th.
Impact
MacIntyre ranked top-10 among the field in both SG: Putting and scrambling throughout his week at the first Signature Event of the season, though he lost 2.2 strokes from tee to green while ranking just 74th in fairway proximity. He's now lost a collective 6.65 strokes on approach over his past two starts, but MacIntyre will look to bounce back at Riviera Country Club where he tied for 15th during his Genesis Invitational debut back in 2022.

Share of 38th at The Amex
MacIntyre carded a two-under 70 during the final round of The American Express to finish tied for 38th.
Impact
MacIntyre started the tournament strongly with a nine-under 63 opening round, but the Scotsman couldn't carry that momentum into the final three days of the tournament, going seven-under from Friday to Sunday. He finished in the top-20 in the field in SG: Putting, driving distance and birdies made, but he ranked 72nd in GIR and SG: Approach to Green. MacIntyre now sits fifth in the OWGR after opening the 2026 PGA Tour season with finishes of T4 and T38.

Surges to T4 at Sony Open
MacIntyre fired a bogey-free, seven-under 63 during the final round at the Sony Open to finish tied with Jacob Bridgeman for fourth.
Impact
MacIntyre was on fire during the final round in Hawaii, opening Sunday with a five-under front nine and finishing the day with the top SG: Total (4.92). He finished the tournament tied for the fifth-best GIR (79.17 percent), seventh in SG: Off the Tee (3.36) and 14th in SG: Approach to Green (3.47). It was MacIntyre's third top-5 finish on the PGA Tour since the start of the 2025 season, though he hasn't won an event on the Tour since the RBC Canadian Open in May of 2024. He is in the field for The American Express next week.
