Oosthuizen has finished in the top-20 in two of the last three LIV Golf tournaments and sits 27th in the individual standings. His next outing will be LIV Golf Mexcio that starts April 16.

Oosthuizen will lead his seventh-seeded Stinger team of Charles Schwartzel, Branden Grace and Chicago champion Dean Burmester into the LIV Golf Team Championship in Michigan this weekend.

Impact Oosthuizen was one-over through the first two rounds, it wasn't enough for him to crack into the top-24 to earn points. He finished T2 in both driving accuracy and scrambling opportunities but was in the bottom half of the field in putts per hole and birdies made. It's been an up-and-down season for the Stinger GC captain, who followed up his T2 finish at LIV Golf Dallas with a T45 in Andalucia, a missed cut at The Open and his most recent performance at JCB Golf and Country Club. Ootshuizen is 28th in the individual season standings with 45.13 points heading into LIV Golf Chicago, where he finished T30 in 2024 and 22nd in 2023.
