Share of 12th at LIV South Africa Ballester carded a three-under 68 in the final round of LIV Golf South Africa to finish in a five-way share of 12th.

Impact Ballester climbed up the leaderboard after posting back-to-back six-under 65 rounds Friday and Saturday, though he wasn't able to maintain that scoring barrage in the final round Sunday. While he ranked sixth in the field in driving distance and in the top-15 in scrambling and GIR, Ballester also finished near the bottom in driving accuracy. The 22-year-old Spaniard has turned things around after a slow start to the LIV Golf season, finishing T6 and T12 over the last two events. It'll be four weeks until LIV Golf resumes in Mexico on April 16.

Encouraging play in Singapore Ballester carded a four-under 67 during the final round at LIV Golf Singapore to finish tied with Thomas Pieters for sixth.

Impact Ballester started the tournament poorly with a two-over 73 first round that ended with back-to-back bogeys. He responded nicely with a five-under 66 score Friday (which could have been better had it not been for his two bogeys and one double bogey) before going six-under over the weekend. Ballester led the field in Singapore with 23 birdies made while finishing T4 in putts per hole. It was his first top-10 finish of the 2026 season and his best performance a LIV Golf event since his T2 at Chicago last August. He's in the field for LIV Golf South Africa next week.

Impact Ballester surged to the top of the leaderboard with a five-under 66 second round that had him two strokes back of Burmester heading into Championship Sunday. Ballester was one-over through the front nine of the final round, but he caught fire to go three-under on the back, with his birdie on the par-4 18th forcing a three-way playoff. He was unable to force a second playoff hole after his birdie putt missed right, but it was a spectacular performance from the 21-year-old Spaniard, who has finished T23-T7-T2 over his last three LIV Golf outings. As the reigning U.S. Amateur champion, Ballester will be in the field this weekend at the U.S. Open at Oakmont.

Signs multi-year deal with LIV Golf Ballester has signed a multi-year contract with LIV Golf and will be apart of Fireballs GC captained by Sergio Garcia, Ben Nuckols of AP News reports.

Impact Ballester will make his professional debut this week at LIV Golf Virginia. As a result of the move, Luis Masaveu will move to a reserve role, but will be active at LIV Virginia with David Puig nursing a back injury. Ballester is the reigning U.S. Amateur champion and will also be in the field next week at the U.S. Open at Oakmont. He finished his senior season at Arizona State No. 3 in the PGA Tour University standings. Instead of accepting Korn Ferry Tour membership, Ballester elected to go in a different route and join some of his fellow Spaniards with the Fireballs. LIV Golf continues to invest heavily in going after young players who are more likely to give up any PGA Tour membership right out of college in return for a guaranteed money from the breakaway tour.
