Impact Rahm entered JCB Golf and Country Club looking to defend his LIV Golf UK title and reduce the deficit between him and Joaquin Niemann in the individual standings. However, Rahm got off to a slow start with an even 71 first round and was never in contention heading into the final round. Rahm did manage to finish the final round with three consecutive birdies, which allowed him to sneak into the top-5 to help Legion XIII secure a second straight team victory (and fourth of the season). Rahm is second in the LIV Golf individual season standings but is 37.64 points behind Niemann for the top spot, and the pressure is on the former to defend his Individual Championship. Rahm will attempt to do so at LIV Golf Chicago in two weeks, which he won last year by three strokes over Niemann and Sergio Garcia.
