Loses to DeChambeau in South Africa
Rahm was the runner-up at LIV Golf South Africa after losing to Bryson DeChambeau on the first playoff hole.
Impact
Rahm hovered near the top of the leaderboard for most of the tournament before surging to a tie with DeChambeau on Sunday after the former posted a bogey-free, eight-under 63 score in the final round that included a four-under stretch from holes eight to 10. That led to a playoff for the second consecutive LIV Golf tournament, and while DeChambeau found the green in two shots and came away with a birdie, Rahm was unable to force a second playoff hole after his own birdie putt missed to the right. Rahm's eight-under final round was tied for the best score of the day, and the Legion XIII captain ended the tournament with just one bogey to his name. Even with DeChambeau winning back-to-back LIV Golf tournaments, Rahm still sits at the top of the individual standings thanks to three runner-up finishes and a victory in Hong Kong. The next time Rahm will tee off will be at Augusta National on April 9. After his victory at The Masters in 2023, Rahm finished T45 and T14 in 2024 and 2025, respectively.

GIR leader in Singapore
Rahm posted a 10-under cumulative score to finish fifth at LIV Golf Singapore.
Impact
Rahm was chasing the top of the leaderboard through the first two rounds of the tournament before losing momentum Saturday with an even-par 71 score. He opened the final round nicely by going three-under through the first seven holes, but any hope of a come-from-behind victory vanished after his double bogey on the par-15th, though he did well to end the round on a high note with back-to-back birdies. Rahm led the field in Singapore with an 87.5 percent GIR, but he failed to convert his accuracy into gained strokes with his putter, as he finished dead last in putts per hole (1.81). He'll certainly work on his putting game heading into LIV Golf Singapore next week, but Rahm continues to be the most consistent player on the breakaway tour. He's finished in the top-5 in each of the first four LIV tournaments of the season (including his victory in Hong Kong last week), and that streak extends to eight events if you go back to the tail end of the 2025 season.
