Another missed cut Highsmith missed the cut by one stroke at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

Impact Highsmith gave himself a chance to make it to the weekend after back-to-back birdies on the 16th and 17th holes of the second round, but he was unable to sink his 25-foot birdie putt on the 18th. He's finished T42 or worse in all nine of his PGA Tour outings this season, including four missed cuts. Highsmith will look to turn his season around at the Valero Texas Open, where he finished T51 in his debut outing at TPC San Antonio in 2024.

Impact Highsmith ranked just 78th of 80 in SG: Tee-to-Green throughout his week at the season's first Signature Event, and he's now gone 16 consecutive starts without a single top-50 result dating back to a missed cut at last July's John Deere Classic. He's dropped from 112th to No. 126 in the OWGR since the turn of the calendar year, and Highsmith failed to qualify for the upcoming Genesis Invitational.
