Fails to qualify for weekend again Highsmith posted a 71-69 scorecard through the first two rounds of the Genesis Scottish Open to miss the cut by two strokes.

Impact Highsmith needed to gain three strokes in the second round to meet the two-under cut line, but he fell short of that goal after carding three birdies and two bogeys Friday. He's missed the cut in five of his last six tournaments and nine times in 18 events this season, and his T33 at the RBC Heritage is Highsmith's best performance of 2026. With the top players teeing off at The Open Championship next week, Highsmith will have a chance for a top finish at the Corales Puntacana Championship.

Third-straight missed cut Highsmith posted a 76-68 scorecard over two rounds at the Charles Schwab Challenge to miss the cut by six strokes.

Impact Highsmith had a steep hill to climb after going six-over in the first round, though he made a good run of it Friday by going five-under through 11 holes, only to end the day with a double bogey on the par-4 ninth. Most of his strokes lost came with his iron play, finishing his two rounds with an SG: Approach of minus-5.28. Highsmith has failed to crack the top-30 across 15 PGA Tour events this season, including seven missed cuts. He is not listed in the field for the Memorial Tournament next week.

Fourth in SG: ARG at RBC Highsmith closed with a two-over 73 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish seven-under and tied for 33rd.

Impact Highsmith broke 70 in each of his first three rounds at Harbour Town before notching five bogeys and a double throughout the final 18 holes, ultimately hitting just eight greens in regulation Sunday. He ultimately ranked last among the 82-man Signature Event field in SG: Off-the-Tee for the week, though Highsmith gained a career-best 4.4 strokes around the green while rising from 151st to No. 135 in the FedExCup standings.

Another missed cut Highsmith missed the cut by one stroke at the Texas Children's Houston Open.

Impact Highsmith gave himself a chance to make it to the weekend after back-to-back birdies on the 16th and 17th holes of the second round, but he was unable to sink his 25-foot birdie putt on the 18th. He's finished T42 or worse in all nine of his PGA Tour outings this season, including four missed cuts. Highsmith will look to turn his season around at the Valero Texas Open, where he finished T51 in his debut outing at TPC San Antonio in 2024.

Impact Highsmith ranked just 78th of 80 in SG: Tee-to-Green throughout his week at the season's first Signature Event, and he's now gone 16 consecutive starts without a single top-50 result dating back to a missed cut at last July's John Deere Classic. He's dropped from 112th to No. 126 in the OWGR since the turn of the calendar year, and Highsmith failed to qualify for the upcoming Genesis Invitational.
