Impact Varner III started the tournament slowly with a one-over 72 opening round, but the American went eight-under over the final two days to log his second top-5 finish of the season. He has earned points in 10 of 12 tournaments this season and is up to 18th in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 60.31 points, which is a far cry from his performance in 2024 (43rd with 13.75 points). Varner will look to end the LIV Golf regular season on a high note in Indianapolis next weekend.

Fades after strong first round Varner III finished tied for fifth at LIV Golf Dallas with a five-under cumulative score.

Impact Varner was tied with eventual winner Patrick Reed for the clubhouse lead at the end of the first round after carding a five-under 67. Varner was able to recover from a three-over start in the second to finish the round even, and he was battling for a spot at the top of the leaderboard on Championship Sunday. He briefly held the lead after an eagle on the par-4 sixth and a birdie on the eighth, but he went two-over across the last 10 holes and fell one stroke short of a playoff. It was still a good outing for Varner, who finished in the top-5 of a LIV Golf tournament for the first time since LIV Golf Jeddah in 2023 (third), and he sits 18th in the individual season standings with 45.70 points. He is one of 18 LIV Golfers participating in the Final Qualifier for the Open Championship on Tuesday.

Impact Varner was in contention for a top-5 finish after going seven-under through the first two days of the tournament, but he faltered in the final round with on double bogey, five bogeys and three birdies. It was a disappointing finish for Varner, but he has earned points in all six LIV Golf tournaments this year and continues to lead the league in GIR (76.23 percent). He sits 17th in the individual season standings with 29.95 points heading into LIV Golf Korea this weekend.

Impact Varner's accuracy was in display in Singapore, finishing T3 and T5 in GIR (79.63 percent) and driving accuracy (71.43 percent), respectively. However, he finished the tournament with just eight birdies, and part of that had to do with his performance on the putting green (1.72 putts per hole - T42). Varner has earned points in each of the first four LIV Golf tournaments of the season, but he may have had a podium finish to his name had his putting game been better. He'll look to improve on that part of his game heading into LIV Golf Miami, where he finished T21 in 2024.

Shows off accuracy in Hong Kong Varner III carded a four-under 66 in the final round at LIV Golf Hong Kong to finish with a cumulative score of eight-under for a share of 18th.

Impact Varner connected on a tournament-best 88.10 percent of fairways and was tied with Tom McKibbin for the best GIR in the field (85.19 percent). However, Varner wasn't able to capitalize on his accuracy on the greens, where he ranked T51 in putts per hole (1.70). That'll be an area of focus heading into LIV Golf Singapore on Friday, where he finished T32 in 2024. Varner has scored points in the first three LIV Golf tournaments of the season and sits 19th in the individual season standings with 13.80 points.
