Ties for 12th in U.S. Open Kirk closed with a one-over par 71 on Sunday at Oakmont to finish six-over par for the tournament and tied for 12th place.
Impact Kirk's U.S Open got off to a rough start as he made three bogeys and two double bogeys on his opening nine holes. However he was able to close out his opening round with four straight birdies to shoot a three-over par 73 in the first round. Kirk's up and down play continued in rounds two and three as he made three bogeys and three birdies in round two to shoot an even-par 70, and five bogeys and three birdies in round three to shoot a two-over par 72. Kirk's final round was much of the same as he entered his final nine holes of the tournament two-over par for the round and seven-over for the tournament. He was able to birdie holes 13 and 14 before bogeying the difficult hole 16, to close with a final round 71. Kirk finished the tournament tied for forth in birdies made in large part to his impressive tee-to-green play, which ranked 11th in SG: Tee to Green in the field.

T5 in GIR at RBC Heritage Kirk closed with a three-under 68 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish nine-under and tied for 18th.
Impact Kirk converted all six of his scrambling opportunities en route to a bogey-free performance Sunday at Harbour Town, where he ultimately ranked T5 among the field in GIR percentage throughout the Signature Event. The T18 result marks his first top-20 effort of the season, though he's still outside of the top-100 in the FedExCup standings.

Ties for 56th at PGA National Kirk carded a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches to finish six-under and tied for 56th.
Impact Kirk gained a season-high 3.5 strokes on approach at PGA National this past week, but he also lost a collective 3.3 strokes on and around the greens while converting only 11 of 22 scrambling opportunities. Kirk hasn't gained strokes with the flat stick since last August's BMW Championship. Nonetheless, he'll tee it up again this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational where he's placed top-15 in five of his last eight appearances.
