Tumbles out of Playoff contention Noren registered a four-over 74 in the final round of the BMW Championship to finish in a four-way tie for 37th.

Impact Noren was 34th in the FedExCup Standings heading into St. Louis, needing a strong performance to crack the top-30 for a spot in the TOUR Championship and exemptions in all majors in 2027. He was in the top-15 of the leaderboard following a five-under 65 third round, but the Swede tumbled down the table Sunday after going four-over across his first six holes, including a double bogey on the sixth. Noren was excellent on the green, with the 5.21 strokes he gained with his putter being second-best in the field. However, he lost strokes and finished outside the top-40 in the other three SG categories, including 4.67 strokes lost in his approach play (48th). With Noren eliminated from the FedExCup Playoffs, the next PGA Tour event he can play in is the Biltmore Championship Asheville on Sept. 17.

Share of third at TPC Southwind Noren posted an eight-under cumulative score at the St. Jude Championship to finish tied with Sam Burns for third.

Impact Noren opened the tournament with a one-over 71 first round, but he bounced back with consecutive rounds of 66 to enter Sunday in the top-10 of the leaderboard. He struggled to a two-over front nine in the final round but fought back to card a birdie on the 10th hole and three-straight birdies from holes 14 to 16. He ended up bogeying the 18th, but with others at the top of the leaderboard floundering, it was enough for Noren to secure his best finish of the season and first top-3 since the 2025 Wyndham Championship. Importantly for the Swede, his performance in Memphis moved him up 12 spots to 36th in the FedExCup Standings, with the top-30 after next week's BMW Championship qualifying for the TOUR Championship. Noren finished T9 in his last appearance at the BMW Championship in 2024, when the event was hosted at Castle Pines Golf Club.

Finishes top-10 at Wyndham Noren carded a 14-under cumulative score at the Wyndham Championship to finish tied for seventh.

Impact Noren carded consecutive five-under 65 scores to enter Sunday in the top-5 of the leaderboard. He slowed down with an even-par 70 final round, but he still secured his third top-10 finish of the season to move up two spots to 46th in the FedExCup Standings. Noren's short game at Sedgefield was strong, as he ranked second in scrambling and third in SG: Around, as well as T5 in driving accuracy and 10th in SG: Putting. He'll tee off in next week's playoff opener at the St. Jude Championship, where he finished T30 in 2024, as well as T8 and T4 in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

Strong iron play at Royal Birkdale Noren finished tied for 18th at The Open Championship with a three-under cumulative score.

Impact Noren opened the tournament with a one-over 71 but gained four strokes over the final 54 holes, with his two-under 68 score in the final round being his best at Royal Birkdale. He gained 5.22 strokes in his approach play, fifth-best in the field, while ranking third in GIR (76.4 percent). It was Noren's best finish since his solo ninth at the Memorial Tournament and his best performance at a major this season, having finished T30 at The Masters and T26 at the PGA Championship before missing the cut at the U.S. Open. He's not in the field for next week's 3M Open.

Off-the-Tee struggles in Scotland Noren posted a four-over cumulative score at the Genesis Scottish Open to miss the cut by six strokes.

Impact Noren came out hot with a three-under front nine before ending the first round with a one-under 69. He needed to gain just one stroke Friday to make the two-under cut line, but he proceeded to card a five-over 75 with four bogeys from holes seven to 12. Noren connected on just five of 13 fairways in the second round and lost 3.55 strokes off the tee, which ranked 155th out of the 156-man field at The Renaissance Club. He has finished MC-MC-T55-MC in his four outings since his solo ninth finish at the Memorial Tournament in early June. Noren will have the next few days to work on his game before The Open Championship next week, which will be his 13th appearance at golf's oldest major. He finished T13 in his last appearance in 2024, but his best finish at The Open was a T6 in 2017, which happened to be the last time the tournament was hosted by Royal Birkdale, the venue of this year's major.

Impact Noren ranked just 69th of 72 among the Signature Event field in SG: Ballstriking, and he's now lost at least 4.64 strokes on approach in three consecutive starts dating back to a missed cut at the RBC Canadian Open. On a more positive note, he gained 4.38 strokes with the flat stick and he converted 18 of 25 total scrambling opportunities at TPC River Highlands. He'll tee it up next at the Genesis Scottish Open where he tied for 10th in 2024.

He stood out statistically by gaining 5.8 shots with his short game for the week and was also T6 in driving accuracy. It's Noren's second top-10 of the year, both of which have come over the last three signature events.

Noren ranked 71st and 80th in SG: Off-the-Tee and driving distance, respectively, though he did finish 10th in SG: Putting and T25 in driving accuracy. Impact Noren finished the tournament seventh in both driving accuracy and GIR, and his six made bogeys were tied for sixth-least in the field. He also ranked in the top-25 in both SG: Approach and SG: Putting, although he struggled in his short game, losing 4.2 strokes around the green (70th). Noren has just one top-10 finish to his name this season, which is largely why he's dropped to 18th in the OWGR from 11th at the end of 2025. Up next is the PGA Championship, where Noren has finished T12-T17 over his last two outings and has made the cut in nine of 13 appearances, though he's never finished in the top-10 at this particular major.

Ties for 24th at Bay Hill Noren shot a one-over 73 on Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish two-under and tied for 24th.

Impact Noren missed a three-foot putt on the par-4 18th during Sunday's final round to ultimately double bogey his 72nd hole of the week, but he still finished T11 among the field in GIR percentage and 20th in SG: Tee-to-Green at Bay Hill. The 43-year-old Swede has now placed T29 or better in three consecutive outings since posting back-to-back missed cuts earlier this season, and he'll tee it up again this week at TPC Sawgrass where he tied for 19th during his most recent PLAYERS Championship appearance in 2024.
