Wins Betfred British Masters Noren won the Betfred British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo by one stroke after firing a five-under 67 in the final round.

Impact Noren surged to victory with five birdies on the back-nine in the final round. He was able to play the tough par-4 18th hole safe with a bogey and still have enough to win. Noren missed the early part of the season with an injury, and apart from a good showing at the PGA Championship, there wasn't much to write home about in his first few starts. That said, Noren seems to have found his groove after finishing T7 at the 3M Open, T3 at the Wyndham Championship and then getting this win on the DP World Tour. Noren is now an 11-time DPWT winner and will look to continue this good play into the fall. He will tee it up again next week at the Omega European Masters.

Impact Noren started off the week strong with a 62 in the opening round. He lost ground with a 70 in the second round, but a 69-64 weekend helped him score his best finish of the year. It was also his second straight top-10 after a T7 at the 3M Open. Noren was hurt a lot of the season, so he didn't get to show his full potential. The veteran is still capable of contending on the PGA Tour and will look to have a strong showing in the fall portion of the schedule.
