Will Jones - Tops 90 yards vs. Western lllinois Jones had 18 carries for 93 yards and a touchdown against Western Illinois on Thursday night.

Impact With Tye Evans (leg) out, Jones operated as the Cardinals' lead back and produced nicely. A far tougher matchup is coming against Penn State next week, but if Evans remains out Jones would again be the No. 1 guy in the Ball State backfield.

Justin Hall - Catches two TD vs. Western lllinois Hall had eight receptions for 137 yards and two touchdowns, along with four carries for 12 yards, Thursday night against Western Illinois.

Impact Hall has been a high-volume target his entire career at Ball State, and 2021 is off on the same note. He's a top-end fantasy wide receiver, and a must-start even with a tougher matchup coming against Penn State next week.

Impact A solid start to 2021 for Plitt. Penn State will be a tough test next Saturday, but he should also be throwing a bit more.

Impact A transfer from Cincinnati, Jackson had 67 catches in three seasons for the Bearcats. He should have a bit more opportunity at Ball State, and the season opener was a start.
