While Diore Hubbard is the primary back, Bowers is in line for more carries as Clay Ash sustained a significant injury in the upset win over the Cougars. Ash was seen on the sideline in a boot and Hubbard received a career-high 29 carries in the win. Next week, West Virginia will play a Colorado defense that has been struggling of late.

Look for Hubbard and Cyncir Bowers to share carries moving forward. Hubbard has a touchdown in four of West Virginia's last five games. Hubbard is an excellent play next week when West Virginia plays against a Colorado defense that has been struggling.

Impact Fox and the Mountaineers shocked the world as they completely controlled the game in the upset of the Cougars on the road. West Virginia has likely found their starting quarterback as Fox has played extremely well with multiple touchdowns in consecutive weeks. The true freshman is getting better with each performance and has an excellent matchup against a struggling Colorado defense next week.
