Impact McCown had an ineffective first half, completing less than 50 percent of his passes for just over 100 yards. That inefficiency led the coaching staff to give Eddie Lee Marburger a chance and although he threw a touchdown, he was not much better than McCown. It's unclear where things stand in the Roadrunners' QB room, but McCown's benching did not seem like a permanent decision. As such, it would not be surprising to see both quarterbacks in action this Saturday at No. 2 Texas.
