De'Corian Clark - Out for remainder of 2024 Clark is out for the remainder of UTSA's 2024 season due to a knee injury, Greg Luca of The San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact For the second straight year, Clark's season will be cut short due to some form of lower-body injury, this time an ACL tear in his left knee. This year was somehow better than the last, even though he logged less than 15 receiving yards during 2024. Clark recorded only one reception in both years, and it is uncertain if he can play college football again in 2025.

DJ Allen - Out for remainder of 2024 Allen is out for the remainder of UTSA's 2024 season due to a knee injury, Greg Luca of The San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Allen tore one of his ACLs during UTSA's game at Rice on Oct. 12. Unfortunately for him, he does not qualify for a redshirt, so his sophomore year of collegiate eligibility is used up. But even so, Allen's sophomore season was good, including career highs in every category he logged counting stats.

David Amador II - DNP again, injury revealed Amador did not play during UTSA's 38-24 win Saturday against Florida Atlantic due to a hamstring injury, Greg Luca of The San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Amador suffered his hamstring injury during UTSA's preseason. Currently, the injured wideout's next opportunity to play is at Tulsa on Oct. 26.

Willie McCoy - Records multiple receptions McCoy (undisclosed) logged two receptions (on five targets) for 36 yards during UTSA's 38-24 win Saturday against Florida Atlantic.
Impact McCoy has been one of UTSA's more reliable go-to wideouts, having logged multiple receptions in each of the games he was able to play. Currently, he has 17 receptions for 342 yards and two touchdowns across 2024. Compared to 2023, McCoy's catch and TD counts are the same, but his yards per reception (20.1) have more than doubled.

Brandon High Jr. - Scores again Saturday High tallied nine carries for 65 yards and one touchdown and reeled in their only target for 15 yards during Saturday's 38-24 win versus Florida Atlantic.
Impact High scored his third touchdown of the season Saturday, all of which have come in the last four games. It was a 29-yard rushing touchdown which sealed the game late in the fourth quarter. Although he has still not received 10 carries in a game this season, he has gained 253 yards on the ground in his last four games, proving he can produce on limited touches.

Robert Henry Jr. - Leads backfield versus FAU Henry totaled 16 carries for 49 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 3 of 4 targets for 20 yards during Saturday's 38-24 win versus Florida Atlantic.
Impact Henry led the team in carries Saturday, recording more than the rest of his running back teammates combined. Although he was out-rushed by Brandon High, he still managed a solid performance thanks to a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He has received at least 14 touches in each of his last three games, a solid workload in a fairly productive Roadrunner offense.

Owen McCown - Solid in win over FAU McCown was 26-for-45 passing for 340 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 38-24 victory versus Florida Atlantic. He also had 13 rushes for 22 yards.
Impact McCown tied a season high with 340 passing yards Saturday, but his performance was not without mistakes. He turned the ball over three times as he tossed two interceptions and lost a fumble that was recovered by FAU for a touchdown. He was still able to lead his team to the victory, but his five turnovers in three conference games is a bit concerning.

De'Corian Clark - Heads to locker room Saturday Clark has left Saturday's game against FAU with an apparent leg injury and went straight to the locker room, Greg Luca of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Clark appeared to have suffered a leg injury after making a catch and has departed the game, though the fact that he headed to the locker room under his power is certainly a positive sign. Clark had just one catch for 14 yards before leaving the contest.

Impact Clark is on the field warming up as he continues to work through a nagging knee injury. He has warmed up before games before and then ended up not playing, so his status is still very much in question. He has appeared in just three games since the start of last season after suffering a knee injury at the end of the 2022 season.

Devin McCuin - Scores in Saturday's loss McCuin caught 7 of 12 targets for 83 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 29-27 defeat against Rice.
Impact McCuin scored his fourth touchdown of the season Saturday, a six-yard reception in the fourth quarter. He also set a season high with 83 yards and put up second-bests in receptions (seven) and targets (12). While he has not always ended up with great numbers, he is clearly been Owen McCown's favorite target this season and has shown an ability to break-out.

While it was a nice moment to find the end zone for the first time with the Roadrunners, his lack of consistent production keeps his value fairly low.

Impact McCown had one of his best performances of the season Saturday as he tossed three touchdown passes and ran for a season-high 53 yards. It marked his third game this season with three touchdown passes and his second straight game with over 250 passing yards. He has another great opportunity to put up numbers Saturday versus FAU.

Chris Carpenter - Six catches Saturday Carpenter notched six receptions (on nine targets) for 61 yards during Saturday's 30-20 loss against East Carolina.
Impact Carpenter had easily his best outing of the season Saturday as he set season highs in receptions, targets and receiving yards. He was tied for the team lead with nine targets and caught a team-best six passes. This type of volume will likely not be the norm considering the Roadrunners will likely not attempt 50 passes in every game moving forward. However, he clearly found a good connection with Owen McCown which could pay dividends during the second half of the season.

Impact McCuin set season lows in receptions and receiving yards Saturday, a disappointing outing especially considering it came in a game where the Roadrunners attempted over 50 passes. After an electric opening game in Week 1, McCuin has not gone for over 45 yards in his previous four games, a concerning lack of production in a high volume passing attack.
