Willie McCoy - Catches TD Saturday McCoy caught 4 of 10 targets for 76 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 46-45 defeat versus Tulsa.
Impact McCoy caught his third touchdown of the season Saturday, a five-yard reception in the third quarter. He also saw 10 targets for the third time this season and went for over 75 yards for the third time in his last four games. With how much Owen McCown is throwing the ball, McCoy will stay relevant even though he has not caught more than four passes in a game this season.

Chris Carpenter - Excellent versus Tulsa Carpenter reeled in 7 of 9 targets for 115 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 46-45 loss versus Tulsa.
Impact Carpenter set a season-high with 115 yards in Saturday's loss and he scored his first touchdown of the season, a 69-yard reception in the first quarter. Carpenter has now caught at least six passes on at least nine targets in all four of his conference games so far this season, a very promising sign for the rest of the campaign. The senior faces a tougher matchup versus Memphis on Saturday, however the Roadrunners will likely be throwing the ball a lot once again.

Houston Thomas - Breaks out versus Tulsa Thomas caught 6 of 10 targets for 132 yards during Saturday's 46-45 loss against Tulsa.
Impact Thomas set season highs across the board Saturday, recording six catches (on 10 targets) for 132 yards. His 132 yards marked his first 100-yard outing of the season and are more than he recorded in his last three games combined. He was certainly aided by Owen McCown attempting a season-high 50 passes, but his high-target share was still impressive. He has seen at least six targets in three of his four conference outings so he might be worth consideration for the final stretch of the season.

Robert Henry Jr. - Paces backfield again Henry accrued 20 carries for 67 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 4 of 5 targets for 22 yards during Saturday's 46-45 defeat to Tulsa.
Impact Henry had a season-high 24 touches in Saturday's close loss and has clearly taken the reigns of the Roadrunners' backfield. The senior ran the ball 20 times -- double the number of Kevorian Barnes -- and accumulated 89 yards from scrimmage and scored his fourth touchdown of the season. While he has not been particularly efficient with his rushing attempts, the volume he has received over the last two games gives him a high floor moving forward.

Owen McCown - Tosses four TDs in brutal loss McCown was 30-for-50 passing for 434 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 46-45 loss to Tulsa.
Impact McCown played very well Saturday as he set season highs in passing yards (434), passing touchdowns (four), completions (30) and attempts (50). His only major mistake was when he lost a fumble early in the second half and it was returned for a Tulsa touchdown. He helped his team jump out to a 42-17 lead with five minutes left in the third quarter, but he struggled to get the offensive going on the last five possessions and Tulsa completed the improbable comeback and stole the game. Still, there are a lot of positives to take from McCown's outing. He will look to keep the offense rolling Saturday versus Memphis.

Impact For the second straight year, Clark's season will be cut short due to some form of lower-body injury, this time an ACL tear in his left knee. This year was somehow better than the last, even though he logged less than 15 receiving yards during 2024. Clark recorded only one reception in both years, and it is uncertain if he can play college football again in 2025.

DJ Allen - Out for remainder of 2024 Allen is out for the remainder of UTSA's 2024 season due to a knee injury, Greg Luca of The San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Allen tore one of his ACLs during UTSA's game at Rice on Oct. 12. Unfortunately for him, he does not qualify for a redshirt, so his sophomore year of collegiate eligibility is used up. But even so, Allen's sophomore season was good, including career highs in every category he logged counting stats.

Willie McCoy - Records multiple receptions McCoy (undisclosed) logged two receptions (on five targets) for 36 yards during UTSA's 38-24 win Saturday against Florida Atlantic.
Impact McCoy has been one of UTSA's more reliable go-to wideouts, having logged multiple receptions in each of the games he was able to play. Currently, he has 17 receptions for 342 yards and two touchdowns across 2024. Compared to 2023, McCoy's catch and TD counts are the same, but his yards per reception (20.1) have more than doubled.

Impact High scored his third touchdown of the season Saturday, all of which have come in the last four games. It was a 29-yard rushing touchdown which sealed the game late in the fourth quarter. Although he has still not received 10 carries in a game this season, he has gained 253 yards on the ground in his last four games, proving he can produce on limited touches.

Impact Henry led the team in carries Saturday, recording more than the rest of his running back teammates combined. Although he was out-rushed by Brandon High, he still managed a solid performance thanks to a one-yard touchdown in the third quarter. He has received at least 14 touches in each of his last three games, a solid workload in a fairly productive Roadrunner offense.

Impact McCown tied a season high with 340 passing yards Saturday, but his performance was not without mistakes. He turned the ball over three times as he tossed two interceptions and lost a fumble that was recovered by FAU for a touchdown. He was still able to lead his team to the victory, but his five turnovers in three conference games is a bit concerning.

De'Corian Clark - Heads to locker room Saturday Clark has left Saturday's game against FAU with an apparent leg injury and went straight to the locker room, Greg Luca of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Clark appeared to have suffered a leg injury after making a catch and has departed the game, though the fact that he headed to the locker room under his power is certainly a positive sign. Clark had just one catch for 14 yards before leaving the contest.

Impact Clark is on the field warming up as he continues to work through a nagging knee injury. He has warmed up before games before and then ended up not playing, so his status is still very much in question. He has appeared in just three games since the start of last season after suffering a knee injury at the end of the 2022 season.

He also set a season high with 83 yards and put up second-bests in receptions (seven) and targets (12). While he has not always ended up with great numbers, he is clearly been Owen McCown's favorite target this season and has shown an ability to break-out.

Impact McCown had one of his best performances of the season Saturday as he tossed three touchdown passes and ran for a season-high 53 yards. It marked his third game this season with three touchdown passes and his second straight game with over 250 passing yards. He has another great opportunity to put up numbers Saturday versus FAU.
