Steve Angeli - Throws for 400 yards in OT win Angeli completed 33 of 53 passes for 417 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 27-20 overtime win over Connecticut. He also had six rushes for -32 yards.
Impact Angeli has now set back-to-back career highs in passing yards to start the 2025 campaign, topping his 274-yard Week 1 performance against Tennessee with Saturday's outburst. He did turn the ball over twice (one interception, one fumble), but his volume more than made up for the mistakes. Through two games, Angeli has 691 passing yards and a 3:2 TD:INT while completing 60.2 percent of his passes.

Impact Willis' workload dropped from 23 carries in the season opener to 11 carries in Week 2, but the running back made good on his opportunities. Impact Cook was previously thought to be probable for Saturday's contest after being seen warming up with the team in pregame and was able to suit up against the Huskies. Impact Cook was initially absent from the warmups, but it appears the wideout has joined his teammates on the field ahead of Saturday's tilt. The junior made a splash in the opener with six catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets and should be a regular factor in the passing attack for the Orange this season.
