Elic Ayomanor - Finally cracks 100 yards again Ayomanor recorded four receptions (on seven targets) for 108 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 59-28 loss to North Carolina State.

Impact Ayomanor eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the first time since the opener. The receiver remains the top pass-catcher in this offense, and after a head-scratching showing of just five targets in Week 7, he's racked up 29 targets over the past three weeks. Stanford's offense might be a mess, but at least its throwing the ball to its unquestioned top receiver.

Cole Tabb - 72 yards in collegiate debut Tabb logged 11 rushes for 72 yards during Saturday's 59-28 loss versus North Carolina State.

Impact Tabb made his collegiate debut amidst a blowout to the Wolfpack, and impressed with 72 yards. It's a crowded running back room in Palo Alto, but this performance certainly won't be forgotten by the Cardinal coaching staff.

Ashton Daniels - Benched vs. NC State Daniels completed 6 of 8 passes for 70 yards during Saturday's 59-28 defeat to North Carolina State. He also had 11 rushes for 129 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact Daniels started the game but was ultimately replaced by Justin Lamson. Stanford's quarterback room is a hot mess right now. Both gunslingers scored twice, but neither looked particularly good doing it. Daniels at least provides the more dynamic element as a runner, as evidenced by his 129 yards and two scores in that department. That should allow him to keep the slight edge over Lamson, but it's awfully close in Palo Alto.

Impact Lamson didn't start the game for Stanford, but he eventually replaced the struggling Ashton Daniels and wound up scoring twice. He wasn't all that efficient, as his 3-of-8 passing and 12 carries for 25 yards will tell you, but he did score twice. Daniels also posted two rushing touchdowns, but ultimately, this quarterback room remains a mess in Palo Alto.

Micah Ford - DNP against Wolfpack Ford (undisclosed) did not play in Saturday's matchup against North Carolina State.

Impact Ford was listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game but was ruled out prior to kickoff with an undisclosed injury. The freshman running back has had a productive season for the Cardinal, running for 270 yards on 63 attempts while adding 14 catches for 82 yards through the air. Ford will hope to use the team's upcoming bye to recover in time for Stanford's game against Louisville the following Saturday.

Impact Brown officially got the start for Stanford, but still played second-fiddle to Ashton Daniels. After Brown started the game with two fruitless drives, including an interception, Stanford elected to go back to Daniels under center. The freshman has clearly inspired some confidence from his coaching staff, but Daniels proved he was a better option against the Demon Deacons.

Sam Roush - Another good performance Roush gathered in 6 of 7 targets for 56 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 27-24 loss to Wake Forest.

Impact Roush has quietly stacked excellent performances for Stanford, as he's coming off a six-catch, 75 yard game the week prior. Against the Demon Deacons, he racked up seven targets, and now has 15 over the past two weeks. The tight end appears to be coming into his own late in the season for the Cardinal.

Impact Good things tend to happen when you throw the ball Ayomanor's way. That was on full display against the Demon Deacons, as he reeled in a whopping 11 of his 12 targets on Saturday. The receiver just barely missed the 100-yard mark, a milestone he hasn't hit since the opener. Still, he'll continue to get peppered with targets as one of the few bright spots on this Stanford offense.

Micah Ford - Extremely limited once again Ford posted four carries for 16 yards and gathered in all two targets for 12 yards during Saturday's 27-24 defeat to Wake Forest.

Impact Ford has now strung together two straight dud weeks. The tailback never got going with just four carries, and this Stanford backfield is a mess overall right now. Ford split carries with Chris Davis and Ryan Butler, and has no semblance of control on the top spot in this backfield anymore.

Ashton Daniels - Struggles again Daniels was 24-for-31 passing for 214 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Saturday's 27-24 defeat versus Wake Forest. He also had 11 rushes for 54 yards.

Impact Daniels started against Wake Forest despite getting benched the week prior, but the quarterback didn't exactly redeem himself. He turned the ball over twice and while he kept the Cardinal close, it ultimately wasn't enough to beat a struggling Wake Forest team. If he can hang onto the starting gig, he'll look to bounce back next week against NC State.
