Jalen Mayden - Two scores in finale Mayden completed 17 of 26 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 33-18 win over Fresno State. He also had 14 rushes for 96 yards with a second score.
Impact Mayden ended his senior campaign on a high note, completing 65.4 percent of his passes while leading the Aztecs with 96 rushing yards, the bulk of which came on a 70-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Mayden will finish the campaign with 2,033 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and nine interceptions while adding another 518 yards and five scores on 129 rushing attempts.

Impact Sutton finished his 2023 with 30 carries for 157 yards (5.2 averaged per carry) and two touchdowns across three games. Despite the season being eligible for a redshirt, he already used it once. Sutton will look to be more fruitful with his output as a sophomore.

Lucky Sutton - Week 12 status uncertain Sutton (knee) has his status uncertain for San Diego State's game Saturday at San Jose State, Kirk Kenney of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Impact Sutton continues to practice this week with a right knee brace, hence his uncertain status. He did not play last week at Colorado State, and his lack of visible improvement does not help matters concerning his status. He will have a few more days to recover before the team's next game.
