Impact The Rutgers-Illinois game's first snap included Strong. This 2025 season, he has 37 receptions (on 55 targets) for 543 yards (14.7 averaged per reception) and two touchdowns.

Impact Fonseca's update indicates that there is at least an adequate chance Strong can go at Illinois. It may not be a strong chance, considering he was in uniform and warmed up before Week 9's Rutgers-Purdue game before ultimately sitting out. Strong has several 100-plus-yard games under his belt, so Rutgers having him available against a top Illinois team is crucial.
