Mississippi has moved into the top five of the AP Top 25 college football poll with its win over LSU

Brandon Smith - Shines in Oregon debut Smith compiled 16 carries for 71 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 84-0 win over Portland State.
Impact Smith was a four-star recruit and one of the best signs for Oregon in the offseason, and he demonstrated his breakout ability in garbage time on Saturday. Smith and Tradarian Ball are the backs of the future in Eugene, but their participation will be limited as the team hurtles into a tough Big Ten schedule.

Tradarian Ball - Shows off with solid line Ball logged seven rushes for 47 yards and one touchdown and gathered in all two targets for 21 yards during Friday's 84-0 victory versus Portland State.
Impact Oregon showed its running back depth by rolling out a couple of solid options. Ball generated 68 yards of total offense and a touchdown in garbage time, and the freshman should emerge as a promising option in 2027 if he stays with the program.

Akili Smith Jr. - Takes first snaps with Ducks Smith was 2-for-4 passing for 31 yards during Friday's 84-0 win versus Portland State.
Impact Akili Smith is an easy name for Oregon fans to remember, as the senior Smith played for the Ducks before a four-year NFL tenure. He's a development project for the Ducks, but he'll get a chance to compete for the starting job next season after Dante Moore departs. Smith could redshirt, as he may not have enough opportunities in 2026.

Dierre Hill Jr. - Flashes as pass catcher in victory Hill accrued two carries for 11 yards and one touchdown and hauled in all three targets for 50 yards during Friday's 84-0 victory versus Portland State.
Impact Although Hill scored one of Oregon's several touchdowns on the ground, he also proved effective out of the backfield as a receiving threat for Dante Moore, catching three passes for 50 yards. Hill remains the backup option behind Jordon Davison, but he's shown he can create production opportunities for himself.

Jordon Davison - Runs all over weak opponent Davison accrued 13 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns and reeled in their only target for nine yards during Friday's 84-0 victory against Portland State.
Impact The Oregon running game remains in perfect order, with Davison dominating the game in the first half. With 33 carries for 194 yards through three games, he ranks fourth among Big Ten running backs with four touchdowns and will try to keep the good vibes going on the road against USC next week.

Dylan Raiola - Excels in backup role Raiola was 11-for-11 passing for 124 yards and three touchdowns during Friday's 84-0 victory against Portland State.
Impact Raiola would be a starter in another program, but he's a valuable insurance policy for Dante Moore and the Ducks. Raiola threw a perfect 11-of-11 for 124 yards and three touchdowns after Moore took a seat in the blowout. We probably won't see much of Raiola as the schedule toughens up, but it should encourage Dan Lanning to see his depth at the position.
