Impact Klare logged double-digit targets for the second week in a row to end the season, but he was held over 20 yards below his season average for receiving yards. The breakout sophomore finished with team-highs in catches (51), receiving yards (685) and targets (80). With Purdue firing head coach Ryan Walters after a dreadful 1-11 second season, it would not be surprising if Klare attracts a lot of poential suitors if he chooses to enter the transfer portal this offseason. He should have two remaining seasons of eligibility.

Scores again Week 13 Klare gathered in seven of 10 targets for 83 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 24-17 loss against Michigan State.

Impact Klare logged a career-high 10 targets, and he recorded seven catches and a touchdown for the second week in a row. The 6-foot-4 sophomore walked into the end zone for a seven-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter, which brought the Boilermakers within one score. Purdue was unable to pull off the upset in part because of quarterback Hudson Card's interception on a pass that bounced off Klare over the middle of the field. Klare has been the Boilermakers' clear-cut No. 1 receiver this season, and the team has relied on him even more over the last four weeks, tallying 22 catches (on 31 targets) for 265 yards over this span. He'll definitely be an important factor if Purdue hopes to knock off in-state rival Indiana in the regular-season finale.

Wracks up numbers in blowout loss Klare reeled in all seven targets for 91 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 49-10 loss versus Penn State.

Impact Klare was the lone bright spot in Purdue's offense as he tallied his second-most yards of any game this season. The sophomore also logged the team's only touchdown when he caught a 20-yard touchdown from backup Ryan Browne in the fourth quarter. Klare's been very productive despite operating in the Boilermakers' ineffective offense this season, tallying 39 catches (on 59 targets) for 566 yards and three touchdowns across 10 games. He'll look to make an impact in what could be a much more competitive game at Michigan State this Friday.

Impact Klare matched his season-high for targets and reception, matching his output from the Week 7 loss to Illinois. The sophomore tight end has been by fari the most consistent pass-catcher for the Boilermakers this season, and he's now averaged 4.0 catches (on 5.8 targets) for 61.8 yards across five Big Ten games. However, he's yet to score a touchdown since the start of conference play. It likely won't be easy for him to find the end zone during next week's game at No. 3-ranked Ohio State.

Impact Klare led the Boilermakers' receiving corps in receptions and yards. This speaks to the team's lackluster passing game with Ryan Browne making his second career start in place of Hudson Card (concussion). The backup signal-caller completed just nine of 19 passes for 93 yards while facing one of the Big Ten's best teams. Klare is the team's most consistent pass-catcher, though there's been nothing consistent about this passing game. This could improve if Card is back under center for next week's home game versus Northwestern.

Impact Klare logged season-highs across the board while also eclipsing over 100 receiving yards for the first time in his career. The sophomore tight end had a big role in Purdue's second-half explosion on offense, including a 62-yard reception on a double-reverse flea flicker in the third quarter followed by a reception on a two-point conversion pass. Redshirt freshman quarterback Ryan Browne logged 297 passing yards while starting in place of Hudson Card (concussion) on Saturday. Purdue's passing game will be at a disadvantage no matter who's under during next week's matchup versus Oregon, which was ranked No. 1 in the new AP Poll following Saturday's action.
