Late game heroics in win Hoover was 28-for-42 passing for 353 yards and two touchdowns during Friday's 34-27 victory versus Stanford. He also had five rushes for negative three yards with one touchdown.

Impact Hoover completed all six of his passes on TCU's final drive en route to the team's go-ahead touchdown for the win. Hoover was fantastic on the night with three total touchdowns and his sixth 300-yard passing game with the Horned Frogs. The signal caller has been on a roll dating back to last year with 14 total touchdowns in his last five games. TCU projects to have a productive offense in 2024 and Hoover could be in for a career-year. TCU will host Long Island next week.

The 6-foot-1 quarterback completed 185 of 298 for 2,208 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions in the 2023 season and is poised for a substantial role in his junior year if able to stay healthy.
