Impact Vander Zee will log another DNP due to his foot injury. After the Iowa-UCLA game, UI's next matchup is scheduled for Nov. 23 at Maryland. Three weeks of recovery time are available to Vander Zee.

Impact Lainez was expected to be the backup quarterback to Brendan Sullivan with Cade McNamara (concussion) also out. Now, that role will likely be occupied by Jackson Stratton. The Hawkeyes' depth at quarterback takes a hit here, but as long as Sullivan stays clean against the Badgers, they should be fine.
