Ca'Lil Valentine - Set to practice ahead of Week 9 Valentine (lower body) should be available to practice ahead of Illinois' clash with Washington, per Scott Richey of The Champaign News-Gazette.
Impact Valentine was knocked out of Illinois' loss to Ohio State with an injury after logging three carries for six yards. The tailback has been a significant part of Illinois' ground game, rushing for 329 yards and three scores on 5.1 yards per carry as the second fiddle to Kaden Feagin. With everyone expected to practice for the Illini this week, Valentine should be considered probable prior to Week 9 against the Huskies.

Impact Dixon put together a solid outing against Ohio State, totaling 46 yards and a touchdown on four receptions. The 6-foot-1 receiver connected with quarterback Luke Altmyer on a four-yard scoring strike in the fourth quarter with the game well in hand in favor of the Buckeyes. Impact Despite managing just 48 yards on the day, Beatty saw a season-high volume against the Buckeyes, drawing 12 targets while catching seven passes. The 5-foot-11 receiver has been the go-to receiver in the Illinois offense throughout the season, leading the team in both receptions and yards through seven games. Better days are ahead for Beatty, starting with a road matchup against Washignton following the team's upcoming bye.
