Impact With Colombi now sidelined for the Thundering Herd's final contest of 2022, redshirt freshman quarterback Cade Cunningham is now in line to serve as the team's primary backup signal caller behind starter Cam Fancher.

Taking on game-manager role Colombi has completed 74 percent of his passes for 875 yards with six touchdowns and three interceptions.

Impact The Texas Tech transfer has been accurate thus far in his new role with the Herd but he averages fewer than 25 pass attempts per game, which has mostly capped his per-game production. Colombi also isn't offering much as a runner with -16 rushing yards and no touchdowns yet. Marshall hosts Louisiana on Wednesday.
