Deshawn Purdie - Exited game with injury Purdie was forced to exit the game due to an apparent leg injury during Saturday's matchup against Indiana, Hunter Bailey of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Impact Purdie took a hit and was slow to get up as he exited the game with a leg injury. In his absence, Trexler Ivey filled in under center. The true freshman completed 16 of 23 passes for 194 yards and one interception during his first collegiate start.
