Breaks out on the ground Riley registered his second, 200-plus rushing day in his career with 206 rushing yards on 19 attempts in the Boise State 38-20 win over Memphis on Saturday.

Impact Riley also had a couple of catches for 11 yards. The only negative was that he did not log a touchdown at all against Memphis. The junior collected 201 rushing yards on 12 carries against Nevada on Oct. 18, 2025. Riley could have another day on Sept. 19 in a tricky game against a quality FCS South Dakota team that is 3-0, all three victories were against FCS teams.

Impact Riley is coming off an electric season with the Broncos in which he ran for 1,125 yards and 10 touchdowns on 5.8 yards per carry, also reeling in 15 passes for 149 yards and two scores. Common sense would have Riley as the clear lead back for Boise State next season, but the Broncos are fortunate enough to have another extremely talented ball-carrier on the roster in Sire Gaines, who totaled 883 yards last fall as well. Both running backs should be plenty involved in 2026.

Impact Riley was Boise State's leading rusher in the blowout loss to Washington in the LA Bowl, but that's not saying much. Riley still had an excellent year as the lead back for the Broncos, totaling 1,125 rushing yards and 10 scores, along with 15 catches for 149 yards and two receiving touchdowns. Riley has two years of eligibility remaining and looks slated to remain the top tailback in Boise if he abstains from the portal.
