Impact Lagway was reported earlier in the day to be unexpected to play against Texas. Still, it's understandable that Florida went with a questionable designation so as to not give the Longhorns any more information than necessary about its quarterback plans. Aidan Warner still figures to start should Lagway be unable to go.

Impact Lagway was carted to the locker room right before the end of the first half. The quarterback's injury looked bad, and his head coach confirmed those fears. Aidan Warner took over for the gunslinger, who figures to be out for a substantial period of time.
