Commits to West Virginia Vaughn has committed to West Virginia, Keenan Cummings of Rivals.com reports.

Impact West Virginia's 2024 season included Hudson Clement and Traylon Ray as its top-two wideouts, both currently in the transfer portal. Even though the Mountaineers added Oran Singleton, there is still room for Vaughn to be an elite receiver for them. While enrolled at Jacksonville State, all he needed was a chance. The redshirt freshman earned that during 2024, when he logged 801 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Shines in bowl game Vaughn recorded 10 receptions (on 15 targets) for 181 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 30-27 defeat against Ohio.

Impact Vaughn was outstanding for Jax State in his final game with the program, as he notched season-high marks in receiving yards, catches and targets. The wideout closes out the 2024 campaign with 49 catches for 801 yards and five scores. He should garner lots of interest in the portal.
