Bounces back in big win Vaughn had four receptions (on six targets) for 91 yards and one touchdown during Friday's 52-12 win against Western Kentucky.

Impact Vaughn hadn't even topped 10 receiving yards since Week 11 prior to the CUSA title game, but he poured on 91 yards and a score in the Gamecocks' big win over Western Kentucky. The redshirt freshman wideout will close out the year in the bowl game on Dec. 20 against Ohio.

Impact Here's some whiplash for you. Last week, Vaughn broke through with seven catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Now, he's failed to make any impact even while seeing the field plenty.

Impact This is the biggest game of the season for Vaughn. The Gamecocks run the ball first and foremost, but when the ball is thrown, Vaughn is the clear top target. That has yielded 32 catches for 517 yards and three scores.

Nets 82 yards Vaughn caught four passes for 82 yards against MTSU on Wednesday.

Impact The redshirt freshman has three games now with over 80 yards, and he is the top receiver for the Gamecocks. However, this is a run-first offense, so routinely the team falls below 200 yards passing.

Impact Vaugh is a redshirt freshman, and the Gamecocks have a run-first offense, and so unsurprisingly his performances have been a bit erratic. He has two games with at least six catches and 90 yards, and three with no more than two catches and no more than 17 yards.

Catches first TD Vaughn caught six passes for 94 yards and a touchdown Saturday versus EMU.

Impact Vaughn only had two catches last season, but he also only played in a couple games as to not burn his redshirt. It's been a slow start to this season, but he now has his first collegiate touchdown.
