Impact Underwood struggled mightily in the first half against the Nittany Lions, completing less than 50 percent of his passes for a measly 43 yards to go along with a pair of interceptions. The 6-foot-4 sophomore was replaced by fellow signal caller Tommy Carr, who performed adequately and was able to secure the victory for the Wolverines. Head coach Kyle Whittingham has not yet made a decision about the starting role against Indiana next week, but it certainly seems as if Underwood could see some serious competition moving forward.
