Impact Horvath had another quiet game Saturday as the Midshipmen lost their second game in a row. He threw two interceptions in the loss, bringing him up to five in the last two games after committing just one turnover through the first six games of the season. He ran for 64 yards and a touchdown though, so he ultimately ended up with an okay performance. He will look to bounce back Saturday at South Florida.

Impact Horvath continued his excellent run of form Saturday as he accounted for three touchdowns and set a season high with 225 yards through the air. Most of his passing production came on two plays, a 77-yard touchdown throw to Nathan Kent late in the second quarter and a 74-yard touchdown pass to Eli Heidenreich early in the third. It was the third time in four games that he has threw multiple touchdowns. He also added 84 yards on the ground and scored his eighth rushing touchdown of the season. Not only is he efficient and productive in the passing game, but he is also putting up elite production on the ground and is averaging nearly 10 yards per carry. There is no reason to believe he won't keep producing at this level, with the possible exception of the Week 9 outing versus Notre Dame.

Impact Horvath was unstoppable in Saturday's upset win over Memphis as he accounted for six touchdowns. He tossed for nearly 200 yards and threw two passing touchdowns while completing 75 percent of his passes, but once again his damage came on the ground. He ran for over 200 yards and scored four touchdowns on just 12 rushing attempts, including a 90-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. He has accumulated 333 rushing yards and seven touchdown in the past two games alone. After dominating one of the best team's in the conference, there is no reason to believe he cannot continue to produce at a high level throughout the rest of the season.

Many of Navy's recent quarterbacks have been pure runners, but early into Horvath's career it's clear that he's a true dual-threat quarterback which increases his upside significantly.
