Huge day in win over Oklahoma Horvath was 7-for-12 passing for 92 yards during Friday's 21-20 victory versus Oklahoma. He also had 18 rushes for 155 yards with two touchdowns.

Impact Horvath did the majority of his damage on the ground on a 95-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, but he also added the game-winning score in the fourth quarter from six yards out to cap off his day. The junior posted a massive season for the Midshipmen under center, compiling 1,353 passing yards and a 13:4 TD:INT ratio through the air while accumulating 175 carries for 1,254 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground en route to an impressive season for Navy. He should remain a centerpiece to the team's offense again in 2025.

Starting versus Army Horvath (back) is starting for the Midshipmen against Army on Saturday, per Bill Wagner of The Capital Gazette.

Impact Horvath will make his return to the lineup after having missed the team's past three games with a back injury. Across 10 appearances this season, he has completed 69 of his 118 pass attempts for 118 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions in addition to rushing for 895 yards and 13 touchdowns on 132 carries and will look to add to those totals during Saturday's matchup.

Impact The quarterback was questionable with a back injury, but it appears he'll be good to go against the Black Knights. Horvath missed Navy's past three games of the season, but prior to that absence, he tossed for 1,154 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions, while adding 895 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. He's a huge part of everything the Midshipmen do on offense, and will his presence will obviously be massive in the annual Army-Navy game.

Impact Horvath departed last week's contest versus Tulane with an issue with his back and ribs. Unfortunately, that issue will cost him another contest, at a minimum, leaving the Midshipmen without their star quarterback. Braxton Woodson and Jackson Gutierrez are the candidates to draw the start under center in Horvath's place. Horvath will have a week to rest up before the annual Army-Navy game on Dec. 14.

Although the Midshipmen offense had not done much with Horvath in the game, it completely shut down with Braxton Woodson under center. If Horvath is forced to miss the next game -- at East Carolina on Nov. 29 -- the value of every Midshipmen offensive player will decrease significantly.

He added an inefficient 56 yards on the ground, but scored his 13th rushing touchdown of the season to make up for it. He faces a difficult and very important matchup versus Tulane next.

Impact Horvath had another quiet game Saturday as the Midshipmen lost their second game in a row. He threw two interceptions in the loss, bringing him up to five in the last two games after committing just one turnover through the first six games of the season. He ran for 64 yards and a touchdown though, so he ultimately ended up with an okay performance. He will look to bounce back Saturday at South Florida.
