Impact Reed is a speedster and JUCO transfer who racked up 833 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground at Hutchinson Community College in 2023. This game got out of hand quickly, so it will be interesting to see where Reed lands on the depth chart next weekend at Oklahoma State with Utah transfer Ja'Quinden Jackson the likely starter, and experienced veteran Rashod Dubinion also still in the fold.

Luke Hasz - Snares three passes in triumph Hasz caught three balls for 42 yards against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday.

Impact Hasz was one of 14 players to catch a pass for the Hogs in the 70-0 dismantling of the Golden Lions. Hasz caught 16 passes for 253 yards and three touchdowns in 2023, and should be a frequent target and reliable safety valve for new quarterback Taylen Green this season. Hasz should remain firmly in the mix for looks at Oklahoma State next weekend.

Isaac TeSlaa - Leading receiver in opener TeSlaa caught three passes for 53 yards against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Thursday.

Impact TeSlaa was one of 14 players to catch a pass in the 70-0 laugher over the Golden Lions. The senior caught 34 passes for 351 yards and two touchdowns in 2023 with the Hogs, and figures to be a frequent target of transfer quarterback Taylen Green this season. A clash with Oklahoma State is up next on the schedule.

Ja'Quinden Jackson - Flashes big-play ability in rout Jackson rushed eight times for 101 yards and two touchdowns in Thursday's 70- thrashing of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Impact Jackson led Utah in rushing last season, and the transfer quickly made his presence felt in the season opener, albeit against an inferior opponent. Rashod Dubinion could also figure into the mix when fully ready to be deployed, but it would appear that Jackson has the inside track to the starting running back job to begin the 2024 campaign. A stiffer test at Oklahoma State next weekend should provide a better indication of who the bell cow will be for this offense out of the backfield.

Tyrone Broden - Finds end zone in romp Broden snagged three passes for 35 yards and a touchdown Thursday against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Impact Broden had a rough 2023 campaign, his first with the Hogs, as he battled injury and inconsistency en route to just 15 catches for 109 yards. He did score three touchdowns, though, and his 6-7 frame should serve as a huge red zone target for transfer quarterback Taylen Green. The competition immediately gets tougher next weekend at Oklahoma State, but perhaps this is a good sign of things to come for Broden in 2024.

Impact Green's first start as a member of the Hogs was mighty successful, as the Boise State transfer flashed his dual-threat ability in the cupcake matchup. The schedule immediately stiffens, though, with a visit to a ranked Oklahoma State squad next weekend. Though still a non-conference clash, that matchup may be a better barometer of what to expect from Green this season overall.
