Quiet in Friday's loss Smith caught three passes for 30 yards during Friday's 34-20 loss against Navy.

Impact Smith had a quiet outing Friday as he gained just 30 yards, his fewest since Week 8 at Army. It was a disappointing end to the regular season for him after far and away the best season of his career. He caught 38 passes for 767 yards and six touchdowns in his first and last season with East Carolina. He will look to end his collegiate career on a high note during bowl season.

Catches TD Saturday Smith posted four receptions (on seven targets) for 121 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 40-28 win over North Texas.

Impact Smith scored his sixth touchdown of the season Saturday, a 50-yard reception in the third quarter which took the 24-21 lead. He also led the team with 121 yards, a mark that set a new season high. He faces a more difficult matchup Friday versus Navy in the regular season finale.

84 yards in win Smith recorded three receptions (on seven targets) for 84 yards during Thursday's 38-31 victory against Tulsa.

Impact Smith continued his nice run of form Thursday as he went for 84 yards, bringing him up to 305 over the last three games combined. 69 of his yards came on a pair of catches on the second drive of the game, one of which went for 47 yards. Smith will likely be heavily involved during the final two regular season games, especially if Chase Sowell (hamstring) is forced to miss any time.

Scores again Thursday Smith accrued three receptions (on four targets) for 120 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 49-14 win over Florida Atlantic.

Impact Smith scored his fifth touchdown of the season Thursday, a 46-yard reception in the third quarter. He has now scored in three consecutive games and has gone for over 100 yards in back-to-back outings. He nearly scored another touchdown in the second quarter, but he was tackled at the one-yard line following a 64-yard catch. Given how well the Pirates' passing offense is working currently, Smith is worth heavy consideration even though his volume is not that high.

100 yards and score Saturday Smith reeled in 4 of 6 targets for 101 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 56-34 win against Temple.

Impact Smith scored his fourth touchdown of the season Saturday, a 42-yard reception early in the first quarter. He also set a season high with 101 receiving yards which was the second most on the team. While he has not seen high volume in the last five games, his three touchdowns have supplemented that fairly well. He has also scored twice during the two Katin Houser starts, so he should have some decent value down the stretch.

Scores in Saturday's loss Smith reeled in all three targets for 27 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 45-28 defeat versus Army.

Impact Smith scored his third touchdown of the season Saturday, an 11-yard reception from Katin Houser in the 4th quarter. He saw just three targets in the game, a slightly concerning sign given how much the Pirates threw the ball versus Army. After receiving at least six targets in each of the first four games of the season, he has just 11 total in the last three games combined.

He has now gone for over 56 yards in four of five games this season, however he has caught just two passes in his last two games after catching 15 over his first three.

Smith has had a productive and consistent start to the season and has established himself as Jake Garcia's favorite target.
