Impact O'Connell had his 2020 campaign cut short by a foot injury that also limited his spring activity. Because of that, Jack Plummer was able to show what he can do to the coaching staff and he will get the nod to open the season. O'Connell still could get his starting spot back if Plummer does struggle at all.
