Augusto Cassia - Scores 16 points in first start Cassia ended with 16 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 8-10 FT), four rebounds, three blocks and one steal across 20 minutes during Monday's 85-65 victory over Western Michigan.
Impact Cassia logged his first start of the season as the Bulldogs rolled their way to another victory. The sophomore forward has seen significant minutes for Butler so far this season, but his role in the starting five elevated him to a season-best 16 points and three blocks against WMU. His role in the starting five was likely solidified with this performance, but he should still contribute heavily even if he doesn't find his way back to the main five on Friday against SMU.
