Impact Edgecombe drained three triples and shot 50-percent from the floor for the first time in six games. The freshman guard has struggled from the floor during that stretch, shooting 37.3-percent from the floor and 28.1-percent from three and while he's scored 18 or more in three of those contests, he's also scored fewer than 10 points in the other three. Meanwhile, Edgecombe continues to consistently produce in the other categories as well, averaging 6.5 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.5 steals over the last six games, directly in line with his performance on Tuesday.

The star freshman injured his ankle Feb.1 against Kansas and while there was some fear it may be a lingering issue, only missed one game and has looked healthy over the last three since his return. Edgecombe has been sensational since the start of conference play, averaging 16.8 points while shooting 42.4-percent from long range, and adding 4.8 boards, 3.3 assists and 1.9 steals across 34.8 minutes while playing 13 of 14 games during the Big-12 slate.
