Isaiah Mbeng - Scores 18, grabs eight boards Mbeng racked up 18 points (5-10 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, six assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 88-72 win over UTSA.
Impact Mbeng put up season highs in points, rebounds, 3-pointers and assists. He had only scored in double digits once before Wednesday. The 6-1 sophomore went scoreless in 26 minutes against Temple on Saturday. The Pirates play Rice on Saturday. Mbeng also went scoreless in 27 minutes in the loss to the Owls on Jan. 28.

Impact Hayes missed his third-straight game as the Roadrunners were taken down by the Pirates on Wednesday night. The 6-foot-5 freshman, who is averaging 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, two assists and 0.8 steals across 21 games (19 starts), will have his next chance to suit up Sunday against UNC-Charlotte.

Daniel Akitoby - Starts, double-doubles Akitoby closed Wednesday's 88-72 loss to East Carolina with 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-3 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist and one steal in 31 minutes.
Impact Akitoby started for the first time since Jan. 18, but he missed two games in that span. The 6-9 senior had his first double-double of the season and set season highs across the board. The Roadrunners lost their 16th straight game and head to Charlotte on Sunday for a date with the 49ers. Akitoby did not play in the Jan. 7 loss to Charlotte.
