Iowa hosts USC following Baker-Mazara's 29-point game
USC plays the Iowa Hawkeyes after Chad Baker-Mazara scored 29 points in the Trojans' 73-71 win against the Wisconsin Badgers

Ezra Ausar - Helps USC knock off Badgers
Ausar notched 17 points (5-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks over 38 minutes during Sunday's 73-71 victory over Wisconsin.
Impact
Ausar was a problem for Wisconsin in the paint with seven rebounds and two blocks, and his ability to get to the free-throw line was also huge in USC's big upset win on the road in Madison. Ausar has now scored 17 points in back-to-back games, and he's been a big-time player for the Trojans in his senior season, averaging 16.2 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

Chad Baker-Mazara - Buries Badgers in Madison
Baker-Mazara had 29 points (10-22 FG, 5-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal across 37 minutes during Sunday's 73-71 win over Wisconsin.
Impact
Baker-Mazara needed 22 shots to get to 29 points, but the lack of efficiency didn't matter as USC topped Wisconsin on the road for a huge, resume-boosting win. The senior wing drilled five threes, the second time he's connected on that many long-range shots this season, and his 22 shots also tied a season high. Back in the starting five the past two games, Baker-Mazara has resumed his role as a top scorer for the Trojans.

Jordan Marsh - Dealing with toe injury
Head coach Eric Musselman revealed that Marsh (toe) suffered a toe injury in practice and is questionable for Wednesday's matchup against Iowa, per Shotgun Spratling of 247Sports.c...
Impact
Marsh suffered the injury over the weekend during practice and has been labeled day-to-day moving forward after being held out of Sunday's contest against Wisconsin. The 5-foot-11 guard has averaged 7.3 points and 2.2 assists across 19 games for the Trojans since transferring in from UNC-Asheville in the offseason. If he is unable to suit up against the Hawkeyes, his next chance to return will come against Rutgers on Saturday.

Alijah Arenas college basketball debut for USC features incredible highlight, so-so stats | Sporting News

Alijah Arenas - Scores eight in debut
Arenas ended with eight points (3-15 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 2-6 FT), two rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 74-68 loss to Northwestern.
Impact
Arenas has been dealing with a knee injury since the summer time, but the five-star freshman finally made his long-anticipated collegiate debut here. He clearly has the green light to shoot, and while the shots weren't falling here, Arenas showed flashes of what made him such a high-profile recruit, highlighting his nifty handles and ability to get to the rack early in the contest. There was a brief injury scare in the second half in which Arenas had to be stretched out by trainers on the sideline, but he ended up returning to the contest to calm those concerns. He'll look to build on this performance when the Trojans head to Madison to face the Badgers on Sunday.

Alijah Arenas - No longer on report
Arenas (knee) is not on the injury report and will be available for Wednesday's game against Northwestern.
Impact
Arenas was deemed as probable for Wednesday's game earlier in the week, and now it's been confirmed that he'll be available for the first time in the 2025-26 campaign. Arenas, a 6-foot-6 freshman, should be a key player for USC on offense as long as he's able to stay healthy.

Easter (illness) is available against Northwestern on Wednesday.
Impact

Alijah Arenas - Described as "probable"
Arenas (knee) is "probable" for Wednesday's clash with Northwestern, per Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times.
Impact
Arenas, a five-star true freshman for the Trojans, appears finally slated to make his collegiate debut. The 6-foot-6 guard should make an instant impact for USC, although it remains to be seen how head coach Eric Musselman will deploy him. Arenas should provide a much-needed boost in LA for a Trojans' squad off to a 3-4 start in Big Ten play.

Jacob Cofie - Big rebounding day
Cofie ended Saturday's 69-64 loss to Purdue with 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes.
Impact
Cofie is rebounding from a tough start to Big Ten play, as he posted a season-best rebounding total against a tough Purdue front line while picking up his fourth double-double of the year. The defeat snapped a two-game winning streak, but even after losing leading scorer Rodney Rice to a season-ending injury, the Trojans are still a respectable 3-4 in league play with a favorable home matchup against Northwestern awaiting them Wednesday.

Jerry Easter II - Sits out vs. Purdue
Easter (undisclosed) didn't play in USC's 69-64 loss to Purdue on Saturday.
Impact
Easter missed his first game of the season as the Trojans narrowly fell at the hands of Purdue. The freshman guard's involvement has fluctuated this season, but he's still found ways to contribute and is averaging 5.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 19.1 minutes. His next chance to hit the hardwood will come on Jan. 21 against Northwestern.
