Chad Baker-Mazara - Inactive Tuesday Baker-Mazara (neck) will not appear in Tuesday's game against Maryland, Shotgun Spratling of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Baker-Mazara will miss his first game of the season as the result of a neck injury as the Trojans host the Terrapins. The 6-foot-7 senior, who is averaging 19.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.4 blocks on 31.9 minutes per game will be sorely missed Tuesday night.

Alijah Arenas - Won't debut quite yet Arenas (knee) won't debut this week, remaining sidelined in clashes with Maryland and Purdue, per Ryan Kartje of the Los Angeles Times.

Impact USC head coach Eric Musselman had previously indicated the prized five-star freshman was slated for a mid-January return. However, Arenas won't hit the hardwood quite yet, as he's set to remain sidelined for at least the next two games -- a homestand against the Terps and Boilermakers. He's reportedly "progressing well" and allegedly still plans to debut during Big Ten play.

Last Night in College Basketball: Michigan State Downs USC For Tom Izzo's 750th W

Jacob Cofie - Ice cold in loss Cofie provided seven points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and two steals across 33 minutes during Monday's 80-51 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Seven points on nine shots isn't going to cut it for a USC team that's struggled all season and needed all systems to be firing at full capacity -- and then some -- to knock off Michigan State. Cofie has been very streaky this season. He'll have a three-game stretch where he can't miss, and then go silent for a few games, and then turn into a dynamic scorer again, and so on and so forth. That's made him hard to trust from a fantasy perspective, and he'll need to find some consistency to help USC stay afloat in the Big Ten.

JANUARY 6 • ROTOWIRE

Ezra Ausar - Another solid outing despite loss Ausar racked up 16 points (5-11 FG, 6-8 FT), seven rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 80-51 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Ausar has been excellent in his senior season with the Trojans after transferring from Utah. The forward averages 16.9 points and 5.9 rebounds in 2025-26, and has scored in double figures in all but two games. One of the biggest reasons why he's been able to grow as a scorer is that he's getting to the free throw line more regularly as a senior, averaging 9.1 free throw attempts per game. USC has been a mess this season, but Ausar is a definite bright spot.

Ryan Cornish - Held to five points in big loss Cornish logged five points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes during Monday's 80-51 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Cornish's production has been mind-numbingly all over the place for the Trojans. He's started the last six games, but scored zero points in two of those contests. He also had an 18-point outing in one of those games, attempting 10 shots from the field. He hasn't attempted more than three since or before that game -- he's been wildly inconsistent and as such, impossible to trust from a fantasy perspective.

Jerry Easter II - Back in double figures Easter finished with 12 points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), one assist and two steals over 30 minutes during Monday's 80-51 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Easter notched double-digit points for the first time since Dec.14, also the last time he was in the starting five, but it wasn't enough to keep the Trojans from getting blown out by the Spartans. The freshman guard's minutes have fluctuated significantly this season, and as long as his playing time remains sporadic, his production will likely follow suit.

JANUARY 6 • ROTOWIRE

Terrance Williams II - Nearly silent in start Williams accumulated two points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds and one steal over 19 minutes during Monday's 80-51 loss to Michigan State.

Impact Williams was inserted back into the starting lineup for the first time since Dec. 17, but he didn't exactly reward head coach Eric Musselman for that decision. He shot just 20 percent from the field and was hardly a factor elsewhere on the court. Williams has been in and out of the starting five as USC searches for answers, but he's only hit double-digit points once this season in the second game of the year.

JANUARY 6 • ROTOWIRE

Chad Baker-Mazara - Comes off bench in blowout loss Baker-Mazara registered four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block over 18 minutes during Monday's 80-51 loss to Michigan State.

Impact In an odd turn of events, Baker-Mazara was held out of the starting lineup for the first time this season, while Terrance Williams got the nod at small forward. The end result wasn't good, as Baker-Mazara played a season-low in minutes, was held to single-digit scoring for the first time all year, and also committed three turnovers in the process. Whatever point Eric Musselman was trying to make to his fifth-year senior and star player was not well-received, and the Trojans lost by almost 30 as a result. If USC has any hopes of making the NCAA Tournament after the season-ending shoulder injury to Rodney Rice, the team will need much heavier doses of Baker-Mazara moving forward.
