Tyler Bilodeau - Puts up 32, Bruins fall short Bilodeau contributed 32 points (13-21 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and two assists over 37 minutes during Saturday's 78-73 loss to Minnesota.
Impact It was Bilodeau's best scoring total of Big Ten play and possibly his best all-around game this season, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Bruins from losing to a Minnesota squad that likely isn't NCAA Tournament-bound. While still on the right side of the bubble, UCLA is now 4-3 in its last seven games, winning all four games hosted at home and dropping all three on the road. Next up is a home game against Nebraska on Tuesday -- a chance to bank a resume-building win.

The Davidson transfer has came on late in the year, averaging 14.5 ppg over his last 10 games. He's also taking on a heavy minutes toll, playing 36.6 mpg since entering the starting lineup Dec. 3. Simply put, Durkin has been a major part of coach Niko Medved's seemingly instant turnaround of the Minnesota basketball program. He'll be a key piece if he sticks around for his senior year.

Nonetheless, it's clearly a different program and culture under head coach Niko Medved, and Tyson's remarkable bounce-back year has sparked it.
